In December 2015, the company, together with State Grid Electric Power Research Institute, China Electric Power Research Institute and other units, jointly researched the "Key Technologies and Engineering Applications of Lightning Protection in Power Grid" project of the Electric Power Research Institute, and was awarded the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award by the State Council. The technological achievements of the project have been widely applied to high-voltage transmission lines in multiple provinces and cities of State Grid and Southern Power Grid, creating good economic benefits for State Grid.
